If the feed has many off-topic mentions, the cause is most often an overly broad keyword query. Here is what you can do.
1. Refine the keyword query
Add exclusions (words that should not appear nearby) or narrow down the language or geography. For a keyword you created with the AI assistant, open editing (the ✎ pencil) and continue the dialogue, for example:
- "Exclude publications about job vacancies"
- "Search only in Ukrainian media"
Check the result carefully after each refinement: the assistant may understand your request differently than you expected. If you don't like the result, don't save the changes. Saved changes apply only to new publications. Learn more in "How to Edit or Delete a Keyword" and "How to Write a Request for the AI Assistant: Tips and Examples".
2. Split a broad topic into several keywords
A general word without clarifications collects many irrelevant mentions and quickly uses up the monthly mention limit. It is better to create several narrower keywords.
3. Block unwanted sources
On a mention card, click ▾ next to the source name → "Block source". Blocking applies to the whole workspace; you can unblock it in the profile menu → "Feed settings". Learn more in "Mention Sources".
4. Hide duplicates
If the feed is filled with reprints of the same news item, turn off the "Duplicates" switch above the feed — only originals will remain. Learn more in "Duplicates: What They Are and How to Work With Them".
5. Organize the feed
- Automatic AI tags group mentions by topic — "Automatic AI Tags".
- Feed pages save a set of filters as a separate tab — "Feed Pages".
6. Complex topics — ask support
For keywords set up by the LOOQME team (no pencil), as well as for complex and critical topics (reputation monitoring, crisis situations, topics with a lot of "noise"), write to the support chat — our specialists will write and check the query manually.
