You know a publication came out, but you can't see it in the "Mentions" feed. Go through these steps in order: most often the cause is the period or the filters.

1. Extend the period

Extend the period in the page header by 1–2 days in both directions from the publication date.

2. Switch the date filter to "By Date: Proceed"

Some sources (print press, TV, radio) arrive in the system with a delay. The "By Date: Proceed" filter shows everything that arrived in LOOQME during the selected time, regardless of the publication date.

3. Reset the filters and check the status

Click "Clear" in the filter panel. In the status list above the feed, "All" should be selected, not "Favorites" or "Processed". If the mention may have been deleted by accident, select the "Deleted" status: you can restore it from there. Learn more in "Mention Statuses and Sorting".

4. Find the publication by its link

Click 🔍 "Publication search" above the feed and enter url: followed by the full link without a space, for example url:https://www.site.com/news/article/. You can also search for a unique phrase from the text in quotation marks. Learn more in "Searching the Feed: How to Find a Mention and Check Whether an Article Is There".

5. Check whether the source is blocked

The list of blocked sources is in the profile menu → "Feed settings". Blocking applies to the whole workspace, so a colleague may have blocked the source.

6. Check whether the publication matches your keyword

Only publications that match your keywords get into the feed. Check whether the text contains the required words. To find a publication across the entire LOOQME database regardless of your keywords, use the "Search" section — "LOOQME Database Search".

7. Report a missed article or suggest a source

  • The source is in the system, but the article is missing. On any mention from this source, click ▾ next to the source name → "Report a problem with this source" → "Missed article" → "Send".
  • The source is not in the system. In the filter panel, click "Suggest a source", paste the link and click "Submit". A new source is connected within 48 business hours (if technically possible), and you receive the result by email.

Learn more in "Mention Sources: Source Card, Blocking, Suggesting a New Source".

If none of the steps helped, write to the support chat and include the link to the publication.
