The "Search" section lets you search for publications across the entire LOOQME database — not only among the mentions for your keywords. This is handy for quickly checking a new topic, estimating the volume of mentions before creating a keyword, finding a specific article or exporting a selection of publications.

How the search page works

Click "Search" in the top menu.

The "Search" page: "Search"/"Favorites" switch, filters, "Regular query"/"AI query", query field, search history, "Instruction", search button, tips and query templates

# Element What it is for
1 "Search" / "Favorites" A switch between search and saved (favorite) publications. The number is the count of favorites.
2 Filters Source type, Geography, Language, Sources, Mention type, Additional filters. The ↺ button resets the filters.
3 "Regular query" / "AI query" Enter a query yourself or describe the task to the AI assistant.
4 Query field A company name, a person's name or a search query with operators.
5 Search history Your previous queries — you can repeat them in one click.
6 "Instruction" Built-in help on search query operators with examples.
7 Search button 🔍 Run the search.
8 Hints "All tips", "Templates", "Examples of operators", "Fields", "Tips".
9 Templates "Company Search" and "Person Search" — ready-made query drafts.

The search is performed for the period selected in the top right corner of the page.

How to run a search

  1. Enter a company or brand name or a person's name in the query field. Separate spelling variants with a space, put multi-word names in quotes and replace changing endings with an asterisk. For example: privatbank* "privat bank*" приватбанк* "приват банк*".
  2. If needed, select filters on the left: source type, country, language, etc.
  3. Click the search button 🔍.

Don't know where to start? Click the "Company Search" or "Person Search" template — a draft with hints on where to enter the name, misspelled variants and exclusions appears in the field. Learn more about operators in the article "Search Query Language: Operators, Morphology and Fields".

How to read the results

Search results: number of materials found, "Duplicates" switch, "Analytics", "Social media" and "Media" tabs, "Download report", chart and legend of source types

# Element What it means
1 "N materials found" How many publications match the query and filters.
2 "Duplicates" Show or hide duplicates (reprints).
3 Tabs "Analytics" — a chart of the distribution of results; "Social media" and "Media" — lists of publications with counts.
4 "Download report" Export the results to a file.
5 Chart Dynamics of the number of publications by source type.
6 Legend Source types: Social media, Forums, Online, News Agency, TV, Blogs, Radio, Reviews, Press, Amount (total).

Result card

Open the "Media" or "Social media" tab to see the list of publications.

3 Sorting "By Date (Newest First)", "By Date (Oldest First)", "By Number of Duplicates", "By source attendance".

8 Duplicates The number of reprints of the publication.
9 ☆ Add the publication to "Favorites".

Frequently asked questions

How is "Search" different from the "Mentions" feed?

The feed shows mentions collected by your keywords. "Search" searches across the entire LOOQME publication database by any query — even if you don't have a keyword for this topic.

Can I create a keyword from a search?

A query that worked well in search can be used as a basis for a keyword: create a keyword with the AI assistant or send the query to the support chat.

Too many results were found. What should I do?

Refine the query: add context words with AND, exclusions with AND NOT, put the name in quotes or limit the language, country and source type in the filters.

Nothing was found. What should I check?

Check the period in the top right corner, the filters on the left (the ↺ button resets them) and the spelling of the query. Try adding name variants in Latin and Cyrillic and replacing changing endings with an asterisk.

If you need more help, write to the support chat or contact your manager.
