Statuses help you organize your daily work with mentions: flag important ones, mark handled ones, hide irrelevant ones. Sorting determines the order of mentions in the feed. This article explains how to use them and how to restore a mention you deleted by accident.
What mention statuses exist
| Status | How to assign it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Unread | Automatically for new mentions (green dot) | See which mentions you haven't opened yet |
| Favorites | The "Add to favorites" star in the view panel or in the bulk actions panel | Save important mentions so you can quickly find them later |
| Processed | The "Add to processed" icon on the card or in the view panel | Mark that the mention has been handled (read, responded to, passed on to colleagues) |
| Unprocessed | All mentions that are not yet marked as processed | A working list of "what still needs to be reviewed" |
| Deleted | The "Delete" icon (trash can) in the view panel or in the bulk actions panel | Remove irrelevant mentions from the feed |
How to show mentions with a certain status
- In the "Mentions" section, click the status drop-down list (1) in the toolbar. "All" is selected there by default.
- Select the status you need in the list (2): All, Favorites, Processed, Unprocessed or Deleted.
- The feed updates and shows only mentions with this status.
How to mark a mention as processed
- On the mention card, click the rightmost "Add to processed" icon (a circle with a check mark), or
- open the mention and click the same icon in the bottom bar of the view panel, or
- select several mentions with checkboxes and click "Add to processed" in the bulk actions panel at the bottom of the screen.
How to mark all mentions as read
Click the ✓ "Mark all as read" icon in the feed toolbar (to the right of the "Duplicates" switch). Green dots disappear from all mentions.
How to delete a mention and how to restore it
- Open the mention and click the "Delete" icon (trash can) in the bottom bar of the view panel. The mention disappears from the feed and a "Mention have been removed" message appears.
- To restore it: select the "Deleted" status (1), open the mention you need (2) and click "Restore" (3) at the bottom of the view panel. The mention returns to the feed.
A deleted mention disappears from the feed for all users of the workspace. Delete only truly irrelevant publications. If there are many irrelevant mentions, write to the support chat — we will help refine the keyword so that such publications don't get into the feed.
