If a keyword has few or no mentions in the feed, check the points below.

1. The keyword was just created

After a keyword is created, the system needs time to collect mentions. How long it takes depends on the size of the topic. When collection is complete, you will receive an email. If the email takes a long time to arrive, check your "Spam" folder or write to the support chat.

2. Period

Check the period in the page header. The topic may have been active earlier: extend the period and see whether mentions appear.

3. Filters and status

  • Click "Clear" in the filter panel to reset all filters.
  • Check that "All" is selected in the status list.
  • In the "Keyword" block, make sure the right keyword or "All keywords" is selected.

Learn more in "Feed Filters: How to Find the Mentions You Need".

4. Query settings

Check the language, geography and source types in the keyword settings. An overly narrow query (for example, only one language or country, or too many exclusions) collects few mentions.

  • A keyword you created with the AI assistant. Open editing (the ✎ pencil) and ask the assistant to broaden the query, for example: "Add the name in English". Changes apply only to new publications. Learn more in "How to Edit or Delete a Keyword".
  • A keyword set up by the LOOQME team (no pencil). Write to the support chat and say what needs to be changed.

5. A specific publication is missing

If you are waiting for a specific publication, see "A Publication Came Out but Isn't in the Feed: What to Check".

If you can't find the reason, write to the support chat and include the keyword name. More about keywords — "Keywords: What They Are and How They Work".
