Filters help you keep only the mentions you need in the feed: for example, only negative publications in online media in Ukrainian, or only social media posts for a specific keyword. Filters are applied immediately and affect the feed, the publication counter and report exports.
How to open the filter panel
- Go to the "Mentions" section.
- Click the filter button (the pink funnel icon) to the left of the publication counter.
- The filter panel opens on the left. To collapse it, click the ‹ arrow in the top right corner of the panel.

How to apply a filter: step by step
Example: show only social media mentions.
- Open the filter panel.
- Click the "Source Type" field. A list opens; you can start typing a name in the field to quickly find the option you need (1).
- Next to the option you need, click the green ⊕ (2) to show only such mentions, or the red ⊖ (3) to exclude them from the feed.
- Close the list by clicking anywhere outside it. The feed updates automatically.
Including and excluding. The green ⊕ means "show only this", the red ⊖ means "show everything except this". For example, ⊖ next to "Social media" will leave only media in the feed. The Sentiment, Role, Language, Rating and other filters work the same way.
Active filters and how to reset them
- Each applied filter is shown as a chip above the feed, for example "Source Type: Social media". Click ✕ on the chip to remove only this filter.
- The "Clear" button resets all filters at once.
- The "N Keyword / N publications" counter shows how many mentions match the filters.
- The filter field shows how many values are selected (for example, "Selected 1 source type").
Filters can be combined: for example, "Source Type: Online" + "Sentiment: Negative" + "Language: Ukrainian". To avoid setting up the same combination every time, save it as a separate feed page with the "+" button next to the "All Mentions" tab.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find all negative mentions?
Open the filters → "Sentiment" → click ⊕ next to "Negative". Only negative mentions for the selected period will remain in the feed.
How do I remove social media from the feed and keep only media?
Filters → "Source Type" → click ⊖ next to "Social media" (and, if needed, next to "Forums" and "Reviews").
Why is the feed empty after applying a filter?
No mention for the selected period matches all filters at the same time. Extend the period or remove some of the filters (the "Clear" button).
Are filters saved if I close the browser?
To be sure your filter set is saved, create a separate feed page (the "+" button next to "All Mentions"). Saved pages can also be used for reports.
Do filters affect exports?
Yes. The ⬇ "Download report" button exports mentions taking the current filters and period into account.
How do I add a source that is not in the system?
Click "⊕ Suggest a source" at the bottom of the filter panel, paste the source link and click "Send". If connection is possible, the LOOQME team will add the source within 48 business hours, and you will receive an email with the result. Learn more in the article "Mention Sources: Source Card, Blocking, Suggesting a New Source".
