The number of requests to Q Insight is limited by your account limit. This article explains where to check the limit, what counts as a request and how to increase the limit if it is not enough. The standard limit is 20 requests per month; it resets at the start of each new month.
In short: the limit is shown in Q Insight → the ⋮ menu → "Using the AI Assistant". Each message sent in the chat is one request. To increase the limit, click "Increase limit" or contact your manager.
How to check the limit
- Open Q Insight with the "Q Insight" button above the mentions feed.
- Click ⋮ in the panel header.
- Select "Using the AI Assistant".
The "AI Assistant" card (1) shows your limit of requests to the AI assistant for summarizing mentions, highlighting key narratives and generating insights, as well as a usage bar. If your plan has no restrictions, it says "Unlimited".
What counts as a request
- Each message sent in the chat is 1 request.
- Follow-up questions within a dialogue also count.
- If you weren't satisfied with an answer and rephrased the question, that is also a separate request.
What happens when the limit is reached
The "Using the AI Assistant" page shows the message "Request limit reached" with an offer to subscribe to PRO to get a higher quota, and the "Increase limit" button.
How to increase the limit
- Click "Increase limit" on the "Using the AI Assistant" page, or
- contact your manager or write to the support chat.
Additional requests can be purchased — your manager will tell you the terms.
How to use requests economically
- Filters first, then the question. An accurate selection gives a useful answer the first time — see "How to Prepare a Set of Mentions for Analysis in Q Insight".
- Be specific. Name the object and the purpose of the analysis — see "How to Ask Q Insight Questions".
- Use dialogue. One in-depth study with 3–4 follow-ups is more effective than several separate general requests.
- Copy important answers right away. They are saved in history, but it is more convenient to have them at hand.
Frequently asked questions
Is a request used if I just open Q Insight or view the history?
No. Only a message sent in the chat counts as a request.
Where else can I see account limits?
General workspace limits (mentions, keywords, pages, users, tags) are shown in the profile menu → "Data and limits". The same page also has an "AI Assistant" card with the monthly request limit, the number of requests remaining and the date the limit resets. In the chat itself, the limit is in the "Using the AI Assistant" section.
If you need more help, write to the support chat or contact your manager.
