Alerts send you new mentions automatically — by email, to Telegram or Slack. This way you don't need to keep checking the feed: important publications come to you, and you and your colleagues can react quickly.
Alert types
| Type | What for |
|---|---|
| Alert | Sends new mentions for the selected keyword or search query. Suitable for always staying up to date with all publications. |
| "By negative" alert | Sends negative mentions for a keyword. Helps you quickly notice a potential crisis and launch crisis communication. |
| "By activity" alert | Warns about activity spikes — sudden peaks of mentions that may signal viral content or a problem — and helps assess engagement. |
At the top of the "Alerts" page, a counter is shown for each type: "N active" … "from M" — how many alerts of this type are currently enabled out of the total number created.
How to create an alert
- Click "Alerts" in the top menu.
- Click "+" on the card of the type you need (1) or the "Add" button in the corresponding section below. The "Create an alert" panel opens on the right.
- Enter the "Alert name" (3) — it will help you distinguish alerts in the list and in emails.
- In the "Search by" block (4), select "keyword" and choose a keyword from the list, or "query" and enter a search query (the "query" option is available for regular alerts).
- If needed, turn on "Send after coding" (5).
- Set up delivery (6, 7) — see the section below.
- Click "Create an alert" (8). The message "Alert created successfully" appears.
A preview of the alert card (2) is shown on the left right away: name, keyword and recipients.
"Send after coding" — if you turn on this switch, mentions will be sent after AI coding: sentiment and role detection or a relevance check by AI. Standard (ML) coding happens at the same time as import, so this option applies specifically to AI coding. The alert will arrive a little later, but with the parameters already determined. If you need an alert with very flexible conditions, write to the support chat: the LOOQME team can tune it through both the main keyword query and the AI coding prompt.
Where to send alerts

- Change — click the alert name (2). The "Edit an alert" panel opens (4). Make changes and click "Edit alert" (6).
- Delete — open the alert and click "Delete" (5) in the bottom left corner of the panel.
