The "Mentions" section is a feed of all publications (mentions) that LOOQME has found by your workspace keywords. Here you review new mentions every day, filter them, mark sentiment, add tags and export reports.
This article describes the elements of the page and what each of them is for. Detailed instructions for each feature are in separate articles of the "Mentions Feed" section.
How to open the feed
Click "Mentions" in the top purple menu. By default, the "All Mentions" tab opens for the selected period.
Feed toolbar
| # | Element | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | "All Mentions" tabs and "+" | Switch between saved feed pages (filter sets). The "+" button creates a new page with the current filters. |
| 2 | Filter button (funnel) | Opens or closes the filter panel on the left: keywords, tags, source type, sentiment, role, geography, language and more. |
| 3 | "N Keyword / N publications" counter | How many keywords and publications match the current filters and period. |
| 4 | Status ("All") | Show all mentions, only favorites, processed, unprocessed or deleted. |
| 5 | Sorting | By date (newest or oldest first), by number of duplicates, by audience, views, engagement. |
| 6 | "Duplicates" switch | On — the feed shows both originals and duplicates (reprints). Off — only originals. |
| 7 | ✓ "Mark all as read" | Removes the "unread" mark from all mentions in the feed. |
| 8 | ⬇ "Download report" | Exports mentions from the feed to a file (PDF, Excel, etc.) taking filters into account. |
| 9 | 🔍 "Publication search" | Search for a word or phrase among mentions that are already in your feed. |
| 10 | Q Insight | An AI assistant that analyzes mentions in the feed and answers questions about them. |
| 11 | Keyword header | The keyword name, the number of publications ("N total / N originals") and a colored sentiment distribution bar: gray — neutral, green — positive, pink — negative. Hover over the bar to see the number and percentage. The ˄ arrow collapses the group. |
Tip. If the workspace has several keywords, mentions are grouped by them: each keyword has its own header and sentiment bar. To see only one keyword, select it in the "Keyword" filter.
Mention cards
Publication cards are located under the keyword header. Each card shows the title or text, date, source, metrics (audience, AVE, potential views, duplicates), sentiment and the "Add Tag" button. A detailed description of all icons is in the article "Mention Card: What the Icons and Metrics Mean".
- Click the title to open the full text and metrics of the mention in the panel on the right.
- A green dot to the left of the title means the mention has not been read yet.
- The colored bar on the left of the card shows the sentiment: green — positive, pink — negative, gray — neutral or sentiment not yet determined.
How to load more mentions
For each keyword, the feed first shows a limited number of mentions (20 by default). To see the next ones, scroll to the bottom of the group and click "Show more". The number of mentions shown at once can be changed in the profile menu → "Feed settings" → "Number of news under the KW" (10, 20, 50 or 100).
A typical daily workflow with the feed
- Check the period in the top right corner (for example, "Yesterday" or "Today").
- Select the "Unprocessed" status to see only new mentions.
- Open each mention; if needed, change the sentiment, add a tag or mark it with "Add to processed".
- For a report to your manager, export mentions with the ⬇ button or set up a scheduled report in the "Reports" section.
Frequently asked questions
Why are there fewer mentions in the feed than in the counter?
The feed shows mentions in batches (20 per keyword by default). Click "Show more" at the bottom of the group or increase "Number of news under the KW" in the feed settings. Also check whether the "Duplicates" switch is on: when it is off, reprints are hidden.
What does "1903 total / 1178 originals" mean?
"Total" — all publications by the keyword including duplicates (reprints). "Originals" — the number of unique publications without duplicates.
How do I clear all filters at once?
Click the "Clear" button next to the publication counter. It appears when at least one filter is applied.
Do my colleagues see my changes in the feed?
Yes. Sentiment changes, tags, "processed" statuses and deleted mentions are saved in the workspace and are visible to all users of that workspace.
