Each publication in the "Mentions" feed is shown as a mention card. The card brings together the most important things: title, date, source, key metrics, sentiment and quick actions. This article explains the meaning of each icon separately for media publications and social media posts.

How the metrics are calculated
- Potential views of an online media publication = the average monthly audience of the resource ÷ the number of articles on the resource for the corresponding period. This is an estimate of potential visibility, not an exact view count: most media do not publicly disclose real views of individual articles.
- TV and radio: reach is calculated per 1 minute of airtime = the channel's daily audience ÷ the total duration of stories per day. TV, regional TV and radio metrics are calculated using the same formula, so they can be compared with each other.
- Social media engagement = likes (reactions) + comments + reposts.
- TV and radio reach is recalculated once a day, so for fresh stories it may change slightly during the first day.

Frequently asked questions
Why do potential views differ from the actual views of the article?
Potential views are a calculated metric, not a website view counter. It helps compare publications and sources with each other under the same calculation conditions.
What is AVE?
AVE (Advertising Value Equivalent) is an estimate of how much advertising placement of the same size would cost in this source. The metric is used to assess the value of PR publications.
What does the colored bar on the left of the card mean?
The mention sentiment: green — positive, pink — negative, gray — neutral or sentiment not yet determined.
How do I remove the green dot from all mentions at once?
Click the ✓ "Mark all as read" icon in the feed toolbar.
Why does a card have no image?
An image is shown only if it exists in the original publication and the system was able to retrieve it.
