All data in LOOQME (the mentions feed, analytics, reports) is shown for the selected period. This article explains how to change the period, how "publication date" differs from "date added", and how to switch between workspaces if you have several.

Where to find period selection

The workspace name and the current period are shown in the top right corner of the purple menu.

Top of the LOOQME page: workspace name, period date field and the keyword and publication counter

  1. Workspace name with the ▾ arrow. Click it to switch to another workspace (if you have several).
  2. Date field in the format "YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM – YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM". Click it to change the period.
  3. The counter "N Keyword / N publications" above the feed shows how many keywords and publications fall into the selected period, taking filters into account.

How to change the period: step by step

  1. Click the date field under the workspace name (1). The period selection window opens.
  2. Select dates in the calendar (2): the first click sets the start date, the second sets the end date. The ◀ and ▶ arrows next to the month names switch months. The selected period is highlighted in purple.
  3. Or use the quick buttons (3) — see the table below.
  4. If needed, enter the exact date and time in the "Start date" and "Expiration date" fields (4). Time can be set to the minute, for example 09:00 – 18:00.
  5. Choose which date to filter publications by with the "By Date: Release / Proceed" switch (5). See the section below for details.
  6. Click "Apply" (6). To close the window without changes, click "Cancel" or ✕.

LOOQME period selection window: two-month calendar, quick buttons Quarter, Month, Week, Yesterday, Today, Start date and Expiration date fields, the By Date Release or Proceed switch and the Apply button

Quick period buttons

Button Period that is set
Today From 00:00 today to the current moment
Yesterday The whole of yesterday: from 00:00 to 23:59
Week The last 7 days up to the current moment
Month The last month: from the same date last month to the current moment
Quarter The last 3 months up to the current moment

The selected period applies to several sections at once: the "Mentions" feed, "Analytics" and "Reports". If you change the period in the feed and go to analytics, the same period will be used there.

Release or Proceed: publication date vs. date added

The "By Date" switch determines which publication date the system compares with the selected period.

Option What it means When to use
Release (default) The date when the article or post was published on the source For analytics and reports for a calendar period, for example "what was written about the brand in October"
Proceed The date when the publication appeared in the LOOQME system To see everything that arrived in the feed during a certain time, including publications that were published earlier but collected later

Tip. If you know a publication was published but you don't see it in the feed, try extending the period by 1–2 days in both directions or switching the filter to "Proceed": some sources (for example, print media, TV, radio) reach the system with a delay.

How to switch to another workspace

If your account has access to several workspaces (for example, separate ones for different brands or regions):

  1. Click the workspace name with the ▾ arrow in the top right corner.
  2. Select the workspace you need from the list.
  3. The page will refresh and you will see the feed, analytics and settings of the selected workspace.

Keywords, tags, alerts and reports are configured separately for each workspace.

Frequently asked questions

Why did the number of mentions change even though I did nothing?

Check the period. If the "Today", "Week" or "Month" button is selected, the end of the period is the current moment, so new publications are constantly added. Publications that arrived with a delay may also be added.

How do I view mentions for a specific day?

Open period selection, click the date you need twice in the calendar (start date = end date) and click "Apply". For yesterday, use the "Yesterday" button.

What is the maximum period for which I can view data?

The depth of available history depends on the date your workspace was connected and your plan. If you need data for a period before monitoring started (retro collection), contact your manager or the support chat.

Why can't I see the list of workspaces?

The list only appears when your account has access to several workspaces. To get access to another workspace, contact your manager.

Which time zone are dates shown in?

In the time zone set in your profile. You can change it in the profile menu → "Profile settings" → "Personal settings" → "Timezone".

If you need more help, write to the support chat or contact your manager.
